Converted from the original 1963 Thunderbird Motel to the snoozey Golden Crest Retirement Home, the curvaceous and supple building was given room to breathe as The Standard, Hollywood. 

The lobby features a 'cocoon / conversation room' with floor-to-ceiling shag carpeting, a DJ spinning cool ambient tunes, Ligne Roset suede seating, and a vitrine showcasing a constantly rotating line-up of keen performance artists. The lobby flows onto the Pool Deck, which is designed to be the ideal setting for mingling and known for its cobalt blue Astroturf, great people watching and gorgeous city views. The adjacent Cactus Lounge provides an indoor seating space with an outdoor feel.
